The Virginia Page
The Story:
I was only in 11th grade, I was on the basketball team, and oh yeah, I didn't have a girlfriend. Sitting there, before my game, watching the JV team play... I was just looking around. All of a sudden, I elbowed my friend Jared and was like, LOOK! One of the other team's cheerleaders stuck out of the crowd.
After the game, I didn't know what to do. From anyone who knows me, I am very shy or very out going. I was in one of my very shy moods. So, what did I do? I wrote my phone number down to give to this cheerleader, the girl who I didn't know and I didn't have any idea what I was doing. I left the locker room to find out that everyone, EVERYONE that was at the game had already left!
I was crushed. I thought that whatever it was... wasn't meant to be. So, I picked up my stuff, and went out to he bus... the number that I had to give her I put in my pocket. Upon walking out, in the doorway... THERE SHE WAS! The only person from the school still waiting for her ride! Too embarrassed, I pulled it ot of my pocket, and the kid behind me to give it to her.
Two days later... I got my first
phone call!
The Aftermath:
I will never know why I will always remember that story. I talked to her on and off the phone, but for some reason, always finding a way to talk to her again. She taught me a lot about myself even though we have never been the best of friends. I will say however, she ranks up there as one of those people I will never forget, and that I wish I could be closer to.
She doesn't think she is pretty... but I am sure any guys out there who see's the picture of her will probably ask me to tell them where she lives =) She is more than pretty, she is extremly beautiful and someone who I can say that doesn't come along everyday. I won't lie... the point of me making these webpages is to show all the people in my life who do, have, or did mean something to me. I don't think I ever properly showed that she was something important to me.. so hopefully by embarrassing her a little with this, she might at least smile some. (She has a beautiful smile! Braces or not)
See.. I told you =) <~~~~

Things I remember the most:
- She went to me with my prom, and
I hers. Although I (not her) made the situation tough, I thank her
for going with me, I never in a million years would have thought she would.
- Of course, seeing her for the
first time
- The day we did get along great.
I don't know how it did happen... or what I did that was right that day,
but she seemed really happy, and so was I (I even remember the movie...
An American Werewolf in Paris)
- How I loved her old SN, Heavanlysinz
- How I stole her old SN and used
it for a yahoo name =) (sorry!)
- All the phone calls
- All the mailing from school,
cuz I didn't have a computer back then
- Listening to her complain...
then complain some more (especially about guys!)
And most of all (I am sure there is more, but I can't write EVERYTHING) she taught me about myself... how I have to be more open, about life issues. I have to just have fun sometimes, and stop lookig at everything in life as if it's going to cange the course of everything. I think I grew up more by knowing her. She was the first really crazy girl I ever got to know, even if I don't know the half about her. And of course... we are talking again... so who knows if I will learn anything else? =)
Last, a message to her.
